I suspect that the thug OJ is about to have the book thrown at him, so maybe we'll all get some relief. Rosie, on the other hand, is not a criminal, but I do believe she's got some serious problems that are behind her openly critical remarks and almost pathological need to be in a public feud with someone.
Is this a list of folks we're sick of hearing about, or folks who have serious problems? (Not that the two are mutually exclusive.)
Can we add Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie? Naomi Campbell? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? (I like her but enough already.) Lil' Kim (and all other rappers going to jail like it's the hottest hangout spot)?
Patricia, This is a list of people you're tired of hearing about, no matter what the reason. (I do believe that the ones I mentioned both have a compelling need to be in the spotlight, which isn't normal). They come . . . they go . . . and, to my annoyance, they keep coming back!
I'm so sick of people being famous for being famous.
These so-called celebutantes (Hilton, Richie and the ilk) are only famous because they are rich. Lohan and Spears are marginally talented who are becoming infamous for the lack of parental rearing.
Once upon a time, you could only be a star or famous because you could actually do something - you were talented. And if you were lucky, you became a legend in your field for the work that you did. These "women" will become legends - for all the wrong reasons.
OJ is a pure fool. I think I was more sick of people continuing to harp on his criminal behind than I was sick of him. I like Rosie. I want her to come out with a diss book about her time at the view... Wait... did she do that already.
Gwyneth . . . Rosie's in the news because of the tell-all book she wrote. She criticizes Barbara Walters and others, continues harping on Donald Trump, and confesses about how she would injure herself in order to receive attention as a child (she clearly still enjoys the spotlight), and that she used her cast for "protection" (but conveniently doesn't say what for, leading to all types of speculation - maybe there's a Book Two in the works?).
I still think she's a flake, but she does do a mean Donald Trump impression.

I'm surprised OJ's criminal ass hasn't been assassinated yet, but I like Rosie.

I like Rosie, too!

Well said, Donna!
