Isaiah, Gone

Isaiah Washington will not be back to Gray's (or is it Grey's; I keep forgetting which is the character and which is the reference book) Anatomy next year, as a result of the well-documented slurs he made against a co-worker.

I'm sure he'll bounce back in another part, but I have to wonder . . . if he dislikes gay people so much, what made him go into acting in the first place? (Was the art direction school filled?)

This guy kept on digging a bigger hole for himself even after he made the comment. Some things you should just keep to yourself. And if you are going to say it, in a less public setting.
People like him make me wonder about self-sabotage.

Mark this as one of those times that going into rehab (in this case, therapy) just didn't work, Mel!

Can't say I didn't see it coming. He should have been pubished for the slurs for sure. The way they fired the man though, after making him jump through hoops is the reason some people "go postal." There are ways to fire folks and then there are ways not to fire them... LOL.

I knew exactly what you meant, Gwyneth! I'm about to correct a dyslexic (a condition I don't have) error on my post from earlier today . . . "respective their" when I meant "their respective."

The old fingers are slowing down and can't keep up with my thoughts . . . .
